Port Said University continues to shine in student activities under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Saleh, the University President. As part of this ongoing commitment, Youssef Ahmed Ali Ahmed El-Saqqa, a third-year student in the Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture Department at the Faculty of Engineering, achieved a remarkable accomplishment by winning first place in the CyCTF25 cybersecurity competition, held during the Cairo International Technology Conference 2025.
The competition covered a wide range of cybersecurity fields, including: Web Hacking, Android Hacking, iOS Hacking, Telecom Security, Digital Forensics and Incident Response, Reverse Engineering, Binary Exploitation, and Miscellaneous challenges.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh expressed his pride in this outstanding achievement, stressing the University’s unwavering support for its students and its commitment to fostering excellence—thereby elevating the reputation of Port Said University across various platforms.
