Today, Tuesday 8/27/2025, Port Said University Council No. (200) was held, headed by Prof. Dr Rawya Rizk, Acting President of the University, in the presence of the deans of the faculties and the Secretary-General of the University. Prof. Dr Rawya opened the council by welcoming the attendees and thanked Prof. Dr Ayman Ibrahim, the former President of the University, for his work during his tenure as President of the University in terms of developing the educational, administrative and construction process within the university. In a related context, Prof. Dr Rawya congratulated Prof. Dr Atef Alam El-Din on his assumption of the position of Acting President of East Port Said Private University, as well as his appointment as a member of the University Council as a member from abroad in his current capacity.
The Council discussed preparations for the new academic year 2024/2025 and stressed on all faculties to fully prepare all classrooms and laboratories and directed the deans to follow up periodically until the beginning of the academic year, as well as the continued readiness of laboratories in universities throughout the electronic coordination period in its various stages.
