Cooperation Protocol with Al-Ahliyya Amman University

In line with Port Said University’s policy of openness to higher education institutions at the national, regional, and international levels, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Saleh, President of the University, Port Said University signed an academic cooperation protocol with Al-Ahliyya Amman University in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, aiming to strengthen academic and research collaboration and promote the exchange of expertise between both institutions.

The agreement was signed during the official visit of Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, who was received by Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, along with Prof. Dr. Mohamed Kamel, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, a number of faculty deans, the University Secretary General, and members of the International Relations Office.

During the meeting, both presidents discussed prospects for cooperation in several areas of mutual interest, including faculty and student exchange programs, the launch of joint postgraduate programs, and collaboration in international research projects, contributing to the development of educational and research processes at both universities.

Both parties emphasized the importance of establishing a long-term institutional partnership that enhances the academic standing of the two universities at the regional and international levels and aligns with the goals of sustainable development.

At the conclusion of the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed. Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality, describing the agreement as a significant step toward expanding academic cooperation, and voiced his admiration for Egypt and its distinguished academic community.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh affirmed that this protocol reflects Port Said University’s strategy to expand its international academic partnerships, noting that such collaborations are fundamental to exchanging expertise, supporting scientific research, and enhancing graduate competencies in line with regional and international labor market needs.
