
On the 69th anniversary of Victory Day and Port Said’s National Day, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, took part in the celebrations and military parade organized by the governorate under the auspice of Major General Moheb Habashi, Governor of Port Said, alongside key executive, security, and military leaders.
The event was attended by Dr. Fayza Abu El-Naga, Advisor to the President for National Security Affairs; Major General Samir Farag, Strategic and Military Expert; Major General Mohamed El-Gamsy, Assistant Minister of Interior and Director of Security for Port Said; Dr. Amr Othman, Deputy Governor; and Major General Amr Fikry, Secretary-General of the Governorate.
Port Said University participated in the parade with its students, while the university president joined the governor in reviewing the governorate’s achievements and future development plans. On the sidelines, they inspected the first phase of Port Said Corniche development, praising the city’s growth. Prof Dr. Sherif Saleh emphasized that Victory Day remains a symbol of Port Said’s sacrifices, and affirmed that the university will continue to be a committed partner in development and human capacity building.
