Dr Prof. Ayman Ibrahim, President of the university attended the celebration held for the Science day. The celebration was attended by, Dr Prof. Rawia Rizq, vice-president for postgraduate studies, Dr Prof. Galal Salem, vice-president for education and student affairs, Dr Prof. Hassan Mohamed Hassan, vice-president for community services and environmental affairs, deans of the faculties, and the university staff. All the winners were awarded certificates of appreciation in addition to awarding the winners mentioned in the list of 2% best specialist in their field according to Stanford report. On this occasion, Dr Prof. Rawia Rizq, vice-president for postgraduate studies, mentioned that the winners were selected according the report issued by the award council at the university.
