
Port Said University hosted its annual Ramadan Iftar banquet under the auspice of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of the University, and in the presence of Major General Ibrahim Ahmed Lemon, Governor of Port Said, alongside a distinguished gathering of executive, political, and security leaders, representatives of Al-Azhar and the Church, and prominent figures from the Port Said community.
In his remarks, the University President welcomed the attendees and extended his congratulations on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, affirming that the annual Iftar reflects the university’s commitment to its community role and its dedication to strengthening cooperation and harmony between state institutions and civil society.
The event was held in a warm Ramadan atmosphere, featuring religious segments that added to the spirit of unity and tranquility. Attendees praised the excellent organization and the strong sense of camaraderie that characterized the gathering.
Following the Iftar, guests commended the university administration for its significant efforts, highlighting the unprecedented developmental strides in education and community service. They emphasized that Port Said University is experiencing a tangible qualitative transformation in both academic and service performance—an impact clearly felt by the citizens of Port Said.
