Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, conducted an inspection tour of the Al-Abd University Student Dormitory, accompanied by several deans, faculty members, and the University Secretary General. They were received by Dr. Mohamed Rizk, General Supervisor of the University Housing Sector, and Mr. Mohsen Hamdy, Director General of University Housing.
During the visit, the University President inspected the quality of services provided and shared lunch with the students, listening to their feedback and assuring them that his office is always open to them. He also listened to a presentation from the nutrition supervisors regarding the food preparation process, emphasizing the University’s commitment to the quality of meals and the application of food safety standards as part of an ongoing development plan.
In his meeting with both Egyptian and international students, Dr. Sherif Saleh praised the role of the deans and faculty members and highlighted the strong sense of belonging within the University. He also reaffirmed his commitment to regular follow-up visits to the colleges and university housing units.
At the conclusion of the tour, the University President commended the efforts of the leadership and staff of the University Housing Sector, noting that the recent improvements help provide a suitable study environment as the first-semester exams approach. The accompanying faculty members expressed their satisfaction with the level of development, while the students of Al-Abd Dormitory conveyed their thanks and appreciation to the University President, deans, and faculty members for joining them during the visit and sharing lunch.
