24th International Water Technology Conference concluded under the theme “Linking University to Industry“, sponsored by the International Water Technology Association and Port Said, Badr University in Cairo, and Mansoura University. The conference was attended by Prof. Ashraf El-Shihi, President of Badr University in Cairo and former Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Prof. Magdy Abu Rayyan, President of the International Water Technology Association and former President of Mansoura University; Prof. Dr. Rawya Rizk, Vice President of Port Said University and conference rapporteur; and Dr. Kamal El-Nahhas, Head of Public Works at the Suez Canal Authority and Secretary General of the conference. The three-day conference was held at a remarkable hotel in Port Said, with the participation of 12 countries and numerous researchers from Egyptian and international universities. The conference also included the participation of the National Research Center, companies operating in this vital field, and the industrial sector in Port Said.
