The University Council agreed on providing ten scholarships EGY-AID for international students launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for under and post graduates. This is to strengthen the leading role of Egypt in supporting knowledge spreading around surrounding countries. Prof. Dr Ayman Ibrahim, president of the university, asserted the keenness of the university to participate in this initiation coping with the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Moreover, Prof. Dr Rawya Rizk, vice-president for postgraduate studies, asserted that these scholarships might be customized to suit any postgraduate studies program at the university.
