Under the auspice of Sir Major General Adel Al- Ghadban, governor of Port Said, Dr Prof. Ayman Ibrahim, president of the university, and Dr Prof. Maha Zakaria, vice-president for community services and environmental affairs, inaugurated the symposium held on announcing Port Said the culture capital. This is in collaboration with the supreme council of culture committee for culture and creativity, headed by ex-minister of education Dr Prof. Mahmoud Abou el- Nasr, Dr Prof. Sherief Hamad, e-minister of higher education, and Sir Lieutenant Hesham Zeen Al- Abdeen, ex-assistant of the minister of interior.
In this occasion, the President of the University awarded the university shield to Dr Prof. Mahmoud Abu el- Nasr, ex-minister of education, and Sir Lieutenant Hesham Zeen Al- Abdeen, ex-assistant of the minister of interior.
Notably to say, the symposium was attended by Dr Prof. Atef Alam el- Din, member of the Egyptian senate, Dr Prof. Maha zakaria, vice-president for community services and environmental affairs, Dr Prof. Galal Salem, vice-president for education and student affairs, and a number of the staff, community figures, and students.
