
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, announced the issuance of a ministerial decree by Prof. Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, approving the introduction and launch of two new undergraduate programs at the Faculty of Arts:
Specialized Translation – Chinese Language
Arabic Language and Literature – Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers
The two programs will be offered under a fee-based credit-hour system, as part of the university’s strategy to develop specialized academic programs that respond to local and international labor market needs and provide students with broader academic and professional opportunities.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh emphasized that the new programs reflect the university’s commitment to modernizing its academic offerings and developing specialized programs in languages, translation, and education, equipping students with skills that enhance their competitiveness in a changing labor market.
