Prof.Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, conducted an inspection tour to follow up on the readiness of educational projects and facilities currently under development in preparation for the new academic year, as part of the university’s ongoing plan to modernize its educational and administrative systems and enhance student services.
The tour included the Faculty of Computers and Information building, where the university president reviewed the latest development stages and progress with Dr. Islam Shaalan. He directed that all remaining work be completed promptly and that the faculty be equipped with the latest technological and educational facilities ahead of its official opening at the start of the upcoming academic year.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh affirmed that establishing the Faculty of Computers and Information reflects the growing demand for digital and technological specializations and supports the state’s vision for digital transformation and knowledge-based development. He also emphasized the university’s continued commitment to upgrading its infrastructure and expanding modern academic programs to prepare graduates capable of competing in local, regional, and international labor markets.
