
The Faculty of Engineering organized its annual Ramadan Iftar, “Orphan’s Day Joy 13,” on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, under the auspice of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of the University, with wide participation from university leaders and members of the academic community.
Led by Prof. Dr. Taha Farag, the Faculty hosted children from Port Fouad Orphan Care Association for a heartwarming day filled with games, activities, and competitions—brought to life by the enthusiastic involvement of Engineering students.
The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Heba Abdel-Aaty, Prof. Dr. Amal Ahmed Khalil, and Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Youssef Saleh, along with vice deans, faculty members, administrative staff, and the Student Welfare team.
The day featured a shared Iftar, honoring exemplary mothers, and distributing gifts, creating a joyful and meaningful atmosphere for all.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh emphasized the University’s commitment to supporting humanitarian initiatives and strengthening values of solidarity and compassion, highlighting the important role of student volunteerism in building a cohesive community.
