A Special Ramadan Evening for Port Said University Scouts: Celebrating Unity and Leadership

Port Said University organized a memorable Ramadan evening for its scouts, titled “Iftar and Gathering,” under the auspice of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, University President, and the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, Supervisor of Student Welfare Affairs. The event was held at the University Club and Scout Grounds as part of the activities of the Scout Training Center.

The evening featured the ninth annual Iftar for scouts in a warm and friendly Ramadan atmosphere. Students from various faculties gathered around a single table, embodying the values of cooperation, teamwork, and mutual respect. The program also included cultural and recreational competitions that encouraged interaction and engagement between students and their training leaders.

Following Iftar, a lively scout gathering took place, with diverse activities that fostered teamwork, knowledge exchange, and a spirit of camaraderie among participants.

This initiative is part of the Scout Training Center’s ongoing efforts to develop students’ leadership and social skills, instill the values of volunteerism and belonging, and combine meaningful educational activities with the joy of Ramadan.

The evening concluded with cultural and scientific competitions, with winners receiving prizes amid a celebratory atmosphere, highlighting the scouts’ role as future leaders.

The Scout Administration expressed sincere thanks to Professor Dr. Sherif Saleh, Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, and the University Secretary General for their continued support in making the event a success.
