On Martyrs’ Day, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, paid tribute to Egypt’s martyrs from the Armed Forces and the Police, affirming that their sacrifices will forever remain a source of pride and inspiration for future generations.
He noted that the occasion coincides with the anniversary of the martyrdom of the hero Abdel Moneim Riad, a lasting symbol of courage and selflessness in Egypt’s history. He emphasized that the sacrifices of the martyrs laid the foundation for the security and stability the nation enjoys today, calling on all Egyptians to safeguard the homeland and follow their noble example.
He also expressed deep appreciation to the families of the martyrs, affirming that Egypt takes great pride in their sacrifices and patience, and that the memory of the martyrs will remain immortal in the conscience of the nation and a lasting inspiration to continue building and advancing Egypt.
