Entrepreneurship and Startup Training Course for Students (March 3–4, 2026)

Port Said University organized a training course titled “Entrepreneurship and Startups” for its students from March 3–4, 2026, as part of its ongoing efforts to develop students’ skills and enhance their readiness for the labor market in line with Egypt Vision 2030.

The course was held under the auspice of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of the University, and Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, Supervisor of the Student Welfare Sector. It was hosted by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ramadan, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Professor Dr. Ali Abu El-Maati, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

The training course and workshop were led by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohamed Zein, Director of the University’s Entrepreneurship Club, an entrepreneurship and innovation consultant, and a certified trainer from the International Labour Organization (ILO).

Lectures on the first day (March 3, 2026) covered several key topics, including:

Characteristics of an Entrepreneur

The Difference Between Entrepreneurs and Business Owners

Green Ideas and Entrepreneurship

The Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

Methods of Generating Ideas

The course was organized by the Scientific and Technological Activities Department under the supervision of Mr. Mohamed El-Khamisi, Director of the Department, and Ms. Shaimaa Omar, Student Welfare Specialist.
