Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, extended his sincere congratulations to Egyptian women on the occasion of International Women’s Day, celebrated annually on March 8, in recognition of their vital role and remarkable contributions to society and the nation’s development.
He emphasized that empowering women and supporting their participation in various fields of work is a key pillar of Egypt’s comprehensive development. He also congratulated the National Council for Women for its significant efforts in supporting and empowering Egyptian women and safeguarding their rights.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh highlighted Port Said University’s commitment to supporting women in Port Said, noting the establishment of the Safe Women’s Unit at Port Said University Hospital, the first of its kind in Port Said Governorate, providing integrated healthcare, consultations, and support services for women.
He concluded by affirming that Egyptian women have always been and will continue to be essential partners in the nation’s progress and development, wishing them continued success and achievements.
