President of Port Said University Attends the Graduation Ceremony of the Eighth Medical Class

Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, attended the graduation ceremony of the eighth graduating class of the Faculty of Medicine (Dr. Eman El-Baz Class), in the presence of Major General Moheb Habashi, at the covered hall of the Faculty of Sports Sciences in Port Fouad.

The event was attended by university leaders, the Head of Port Said Medical Syndicate, Mr. Salim El-Talawi, Head of University Affairs and Student Activities at the Palestinian Embassy in Cairo, representatives of the Ministry of Health and the Comprehensive Health Insurance Authority, faculty members, and parents.

The ceremony opened with the national anthem and a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by remarks from Prof. Dr. Ehab El-Hanafi, who highlighted the graduating class’s academic excellence and strong ethical values.

Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh congratulated the graduates, commended the ongoing development of medical education, and expressed confidence in their competence and their role in supporting the medical sector, emphasizing the importance of humanitarian values and compassionate patient care.

Major General Moheb Habashi reaffirmed his support for the university and his pride in the graduates, calling for continued communication, the exchange of expertise, and commitment to humanitarian service.

The eighth graduating class included 250 students, among them 11 international students from various countries. The ceremony concluded with honoring the graduates, top achievers, and international students, who were awarded the Excellence Shield.
