
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, congratulated Major General Mohamed Khalil El-Gamsy, Assistant Minister of the Interior and Director of Security of Port Said, along with the police leadership and officers of the governorate, on the occasion of the 74th Police Day.
The congratulations were conveyed during an official visit to the Port Said Security Directorate, accompanied by the university’s vice presidents, faculty deans, the university secretary-general, and advisors to the university president.
During the visit, the university president expressed the Port Said University community’s deep appreciation for the vital national role played by police officers in serving society. He affirmed that the visit reflects pride in their sacrifices and bravery in defending the nation and safeguarding its resources.
The meeting also addressed prospects for cooperation and mutual support, with the university reaffirming its readiness to place all its capabilities at the service of joint efforts to achieve the public good.
For his part, Major General Mohamed Khalil El-Gamsy expressed his appreciation for the visit, praising the numerous achievements of Port Said University, and wishing the university president and his team continued success in implementing the university’s ambitious strategic plan, aiming to position the university among leading universities.
