In line with Port Said University’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with distinguished experts across various fields, and in support of its strategic vision to enhance its training role, develop human capital, and achieve sustainable institutional development, the University has formed a Training Advisory Committee.
The committee is tasked with supervising the qualification of training personnel and the development of advanced training plans.
The committee brings together a select group of renowned experts:
Prof. Walid Khodair
A leading specialist in professional development and capacity building, with more than 30 years of experience in multinational work environments. He previously served as Director of the Professional Development Center at the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, where he led an integrated system of training and consulting programs.
Professor Khodair has delivered over 3,000 training hours in leadership, behavioral skills, and strategic management, and has worked as a consultant and executive trainer for numerous organizations. His expertise includes business modeling and leadership development.
He has gained extensive cross-cultural experience through professional work and training in more than 44 countries worldwide. He holds an MBA from Nexford University (USA) and a Bachelor of Engineering from Ain Shams University.

Dr. Amr Essam Sokkar
An expert in strategic management, business development, and leadership building, with over 18 years of experience in training and consulting. He has delivered more than 25,000 training hours, benefiting thousands of trainees in Egypt and internationally.
Dr. Sokkar is a professor and lecturer at several prestigious institutions, including the American University in Cairo (AUC) and the London School of Economics (LSE).

Dr. Samar Gamil
An expert in human resources, learning and development, and sustainability and ESG programs, with more than 20 years of professional experience in HR, assessment, consulting, and capacity building.
She has held senior leadership positions in major local and international organizations, including Orange Business and SEKEM. Dr. Samar has strong expertise in talent management, organizational development, corporate performance, and sustainability. She holds several internationally recognized certifications, including SHRM-SCP and SPHRi, and is a certified trainer and international assessor.
This initiative reflects Port Said University’s ongoing efforts to adopt best practices in training and professional development, and to empower its human resources in line with national and global standards.
