President of Port Said University Welcomes Minister of Civil Aviation for Doctoral Dissertation Discussion

Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, welcomed Prof. Sameh El-Hefny, Minister of Civil Aviation, during his visit to the university to participate in the discussion of a doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Commerce, held at the university’s main campus. The reception was attended by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce.

The doctoral dissertation, submitted by researcher Ayman Mohamed Amara, was entitled:

“The Role of Electronic Customer Relationship Management as a Mediating Variable in the Relationship Between Digital Transformation and Achieving Sustainable Competitive Advantage – A Case Study of EgyptAir.”

The examination committee was composed of:

The discussion was also attended by Dr. Mahmoud Hussein, former Member of Parliament.

Following the discussion, the Minister of Civil Aviation expressed his pleasure at visiting Port Said University and the Faculty of Commerce, noting his pride in being one of its alumni and having earned his doctoral degree from this distinguished academic institution. He highlighted the importance of digital transformation and electronic customer relationship management in achieving sustainable competitive advantage and strengthening the linkage between scientific research and labor market needs, in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030.

In turn, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh emphasized that Port Said University serves as an effective platform for connecting scientific research with the labor market. He reaffirmed the university’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with state institutions and integrating academic knowledge with practical application to prepare qualified graduates capable of supporting sustainable development and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
