Port Said University President Highlights Indian Interest in Academic Cooperation

The President of Port Said University stated during the official visit to India that there is a strong interest from the Indian side in joint cooperation, along with praise for the university’s readiness.

Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, continued his visit to India as part of the university’s plan to strengthen international academic cooperation with Arab and foreign countries and to expand the recruitment of international students to study at Port Said University.

The second day of the visit witnessed several productive meetings held by Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, accompanied by Dr. Noran Nabil Abdel Salam, Head of International Relations and International Students Affairs at the university, with a number of officials from Indian educational institutions. During these meetings, the President highlighted the educational and cultural advantages offered by Port Said University to international students, emphasizing the university’s commitment to providing a distinguished and supportive learning environment, both in terms of academic quality and the services provided to international students.

The meetings also shed light on the university’s diverse academic programs, particularly those taught in English, in addition to the facilitations offered in admission procedures and opportunities for joint academic cooperation between Port Said University and international universities.

The President of the University noted that this visit comes within the framework of Port Said University’s ongoing efforts to increase the number of international students and enhance its position on the global educational map, in a way that contributes to supporting the national economy and achieving the university’s strategic vision.
