Field Visit to Arish

Port Said University, in cooperation with the Popular and Military Defense Forces Command and the university’s Military Education Department, organized a field visit for its students to the city of Arish, in line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to enhance national awareness among young people and strengthen their connection with the major development efforts taking place in the Sinai Peninsula.

The visit was held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, and organized by Colonel Abram Babawy, Director of the Military Education Department, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, General Supervisor of the Student Welfare Sector.

As part of the visit, students toured the North Sinai Security Command, where they were received by Battalion 101, one of Egypt’s prominent national military units, in recognition of its heroic role in combating terrorism and restoring security and stability in North Sinai.

Students of Port Said University expressed their pride and appreciation for the Egyptian Armed Forces, emphasizing that the visit had a profound impact on them and strengthened their sense of national belonging and love for their country.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh extended his gratitude to the leadership of the Popular and Military Defense Forces and the Military Education Department at the university for facilitating this important visit, stressing that it falls within the university’s vision and plan to enhance national belonging among students and to raise their awareness of the major achievements and national projects being implemented across Sinai, as well as the heroism of the Egyptian Armed Forces.
