
Port Said University launched an awareness campaign entitled “Share Your Word… Your Voice” to promote the importance of active participation in the House of Representatives elections. The campaign was sponsored by Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education; Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports; and Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of the University, and supervised by Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, General Supervisor of the Student Welfare Sector.
The campaign activities were implemented through the General Administration for Youth Welfare – Social Activity Department, and provided educational content aimed at encouraging students to exercise their constitutional right to vote.
The events were held on November 24th and 25th, 2025, at the Faculties of Law and Arts, and featured presentations by:
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Arafa – Dean of the Faculty of Law
Dr. Sarah Gomaa – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Education and Student Affairs
Prof. Dr. Badr Abdel Aziz – Dean of the Faculty of Arts
Dr. Mohamed Rady – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts for Education and Student Affairs
Dr. Mohamed Shaaban – Coordinator of Activities at the Faculty
The campaign focused on the importance of the electoral vote as a tool for change and shaping the future, through lectures, dialogue sessions, and awareness programs that instill a culture of responsible participation and national belonging among young people.
Port Said University affirms that youth participation in elections represents a fundamental towards supporting state institutions and building a conscious society capable of creating a better future.
