
Under the auspice of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, and in cooperation with the University Entrepreneurship Club and the Egypt Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation—affiliated with the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development—the University Center for Career Development organized a specialized training course entitled “Design Thinking.”
The course took place from October 21 to 23, 2025, as part of the Egypt Center’s governorate tour program, which aims to support the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Port Said Governorate.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh emphasized that Port Said University places great importance on supporting activities and programs that develop students’ skills and enhance their innovative capabilities.
Prof. Dr. Heba Youssef Soliman, Director of the University Center for Career Development and Director of the Training Department at the University, explained that the course aims to raise awareness of modern innovation methodologies and strengthen students’ problem-solving abilities through creative thinking approaches.
The event included several practical workshops and interactive lectures delivered by trainer Mina Ghaly from the Egypt Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
In the same context, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Zein, Director of the Entrepreneurship Club at Port Said University, affirmed that organizing this session reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to promoting a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation among its students.
