The conference featured several workshops focused on teaching medicine according to the French model, as well as discussions on enhancing academic and scientific cooperation between the Egyptian and French sides.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh expressed his pleasure in participating in this important event, highlighting that international cooperation is one of the key pillars of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research (March 2023), aligned with Egypt’s Vision 2030. He also praised Minister Ayman Ashour and the ministry’s leadership for their efforts in promoting the openness of Egyptian higher education to world-class universities.
He further noted that Port Said University has recently made significant progress in collaboration with French universities through joint academic programs in various fields such as modern technology, artificial intelligence, and innovation. These partnerships, he emphasized, play a vital role in equipping students with advanced scientific and technological skills that meet the needs of the future and the demands of both local and international labor markets.
