
Major General Moheb Habashi, Governor of Port Said, and Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, attended a major educational symposium marking the 52nd anniversary of the October Victories, titled “The Will of a People Made Glory.”
The event featured Major General Dr. Samir Farag, former Director of Morale Affairs and prominent strategic expert, along with a large audience of executive officials, university leaders, and students.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh emphasized that the October Victory symbolizes the spirit of determination and national pride, praising President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s leadership in preserving Egypt’s security and stability. He also urged students to embody the values of patriotism and dedication inspired by the October spirit.
Major General Moheb Habashi described the October victories as an everlasting symbol of courage and unity in the hearts of Egyptians.
During his lecture, “From Defeat to Victory,” Major General Samir Farag highlighted the heroic achievements of the Egyptian Armed Forces and encouraged young people to embrace awareness, knowledge, and hard work as the new tools of national defense and development.
The symposium concluded with documentary film screenings showcasing the heroism of the Armed Forces, followed by the presentation of commemorative shields to Major General Samir Farag by the Governor and the University President in recognition of his distinguished national service.
