
Port Said University celebrated the 52nd anniversary of the October victories with a grand ceremony that reflected pride and national spirit. The event was held under the auspices and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of the University, and Major General Moheb Habashi, Governor of Port Said, at the Faculty of Specific Education.
Guests were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Rouby, Dean of the Faculty. The celebration began with a tour of the faculty’s art and creative exhibitions.
The program continued with a vibrant artistic performance on the faculty’s stage under the supervision of Prof. Tarek Ghandar, followed by a folkloric performance choreographed by Mostafa Gharib and directed by Mohamed El-Maliki.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh expressed his appreciation to the governor and guests, thanking the Faculty of Specific Education for organizing a distinguished event that honors the memory of October.
Major General Moheb Habashi congratulated the university community and affirmed that the October victory remains an enduring symbol of Egyptian pride and determination.
The ceremony concluded in a festive national atmosphere, attended by Brigadier General A.H. Mazhar Al-Hibyan, Military Advisor to the Governor; Colonel Ibrahim Bebawi, Director of the Military Education Department; university vice presidents, deans, advisors, faculty members, administrative staff, and students.
