
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, participated in the governorate’s celebrations of the Glorious October Victory. The event was held at Misr Square on the banks of the Suez Canal, under the auspice and in the presence of Major General, the Governor of Port Said. The celebration featured a variety of artistic and entertainment performances expressing the spirit of victory and sacrifice, including a selection of patriotic songs performed by the Port Said Arabic Music Band. The festive atmosphere was filled with national pride and a strong sense of belonging. The event witnessed a large turnout of popular, executive, and security leaders, the governorate’s military advisor, members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, Islamic and Christian clerics, and a wide audience of Port Said residents who were keen to take part in this memorable national occasion. In his speech, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh affirmed that the October Victory will always remain a symbol of the Egyptian people’s will and determination. He also extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Egyptian Armed Forces and the Egyptian people on this glorious anniversary.
