Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, attended the Chinese Embassy’s celebration of the National Day of China on Monday, September 29, 2025, at a Cairo hotel. The event was held in the presence of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications, representing the Prime Minister, along with a distinguished gathering of public figures and diplomats.
During the celebration, Prof. Dr. Saleh expressed his sincere appreciation for the invitation and commended the strong historical ties between Egypt and China, which are grounded in mutual respect. He highlighted the rapid progress in academic cooperation between Port Said University and Chinese institutions, most recently marked by the visit of the Educational Counselor of the Chinese Embassy to the university. That visit fostered a solid agreement to strengthen student exchanges and promote the transfer of expertise and knowledge between the two sides.
