Under the auspice and attendance of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, the 37th Conference on Topology and its Applications was launched. The conference was organized by the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Physics and Engineering Mathematics, in cooperation with the Egyptian Mathematical Society and the University’s Engineering, Physics and Technology Sector. A select group of scientists and experts from Egyptian, Arab, and European universities participated in the conference opening ceremony. Prof. Dr. Rawya Rizk, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Amal Khalil, Supervisor of the Education and Student Sector, Prof. Dr.Taha Farag, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, were also present. Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Saleh, Advisor to the President of the University for Institutional Development, Prof. Dr. Wafaa Shaaban, Head of the Department of Physics and Engineering Mathematics and Conference Chairperson, Prof. Dr. Abdel Moneim Mohamed, Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, Tanta University, and Conference Rapporteur, Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Kiki, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Graduate Studies and Research, and a group of professors interested in the field and specialization.
