Assessment of Coral Reef Sensitivity to Bleaching Events on the Egyptian Red Sea Coast

Project Objectives

Port Said University (PSU) actively monitors the health of aquatic ecosystems through various research initiatives. One such project, funded by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, is titled “Assessment of Coral Reef Sensitivity to Bleaching Events on the Egyptian Red Sea Coast.” This research includes comprehensive monitoring of coral reefs, focusing on their health and vulnerability to environmental stressors, particularly bleaching events that affect marine biodiversity.
