Under the auspice of Major General Moheb Habashi Khalil, Governor of Port Said, and Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, Prof. Dr Rawya Rizk, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research and Supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, in cooperation with Dr Islam Bahnasawy, Mayor of Port Fouad, launched a campaign to plant fruit trees within the Al-Jazirah Housing area in the Craftsmen’s District and Algeria Street. This is within the framework of keenness to improve the civilized and aesthetic appearance of the city, and to create a healthy green environment for citizens, in conjunction with the Egyptian state’s orientation towards sustainable development and living in a clean, green environment.
