The President of the University inaugurated the first Hackathon competitions in entrepreneurship at Creativa Port Said, affiliated with the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) and Entrepreneurship of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, where he was received by Eng. Mohamed Tanib, representative of the Ministry and Director of the Creativa Port Said Project Hub, and Mr Tarek Badr, Project Manager at AMIT International Education Company in the field of technological education, operator of the Creativa Project, and Mr Ali Gabr, General Manager of Style Tourism Company, and Mr Islam El-Mar, Executive Director of Super Bee Company.
In this occasion, 12 projects participated with more than 40 individuals from students, graduates and employees of Port Said University and a project from technical education with their creative and inspiring ideas. The competition ended with the announcement of the three places:
First place: Mara7el project with a prize of 25 thousand EGP.
Second place: Eduktia project with a prize of 15 thousand EGP.
Third place: NEL project (Nature Eye lab) with a prize of 10 thousand EGP.
