Under the auspice of Prof. Dr Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, Prof. Dr Ashraf El-Shihi, former Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and President of Badr University, and chaired by Prof. Dr Rawya Rizk, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr Engineer Kamal El-Nahhas, Head of the Public Works Department in Port Said (Suez Canal Authority), “Third Water Day” Conference was held on October 31, 2024 at the Port Said University Theater and was organized by Port Said University in cooperation with Badr University. The conference witnessed the presence of Prof. Dr Atef Alam El-Din, Member of the Senate and President of East Port Said University, and the Vice Presidents of the University, Deans of Faculties, Professors, Researchers and Students from the Faculties of Engineering and Science.
The conference began with an opening ceremony that started with the national anthem, then a speech by Dr Eng. Kamal El Nahhas, Secretary General of the Conference, Prof. Dr Amr El Atraby, Vice President of Badr University, and Prof. Dr Rawya Rizk, President of the Conference. The opening ceremony ended with a documentary film about “Port Said University’s Achievements in the Field of Water Technology.”
