Port Said University, headed by Prof. Dr Ayman Ibrahim, participated with a high-level delegation in the Scientific Excellence Conference “Excellence in Scientific Research, the Future of Knowledge Production in Egypt”. The conference was held by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Fulbright Commission in Egypt. This took place in the presence of Prof. Dr Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Maggie Nassif, Executive Director of the Fulbright Commission, and Dr Yasser Refaat, Deputy Minister for Scientific Research Affairs, and a group of heads of universities, research centers and leaders of higher education. The conference also witnessed the attendance of Mustafa Refaat, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, Dr. Walaa Sheta, CEO of the Science, Technology and Innovation Finance Authority, Dr Abeer Al-Shater, Assistant Minister for Technical Affairs and Supervisor of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank. And a number of prominent Egyptian scientists and researchers in their fields of specialization and researchers included in the international Stanford list. The conference was held at the St. Regis Hotel in the New Administrative Capital.
