Dr Prof. Ayman Ibrahim, president of the university, inaugurated the World Diabetes Day organized by Port Said Faculty of Medicine in collaboration with Domaiatta Faculty of Medicine, the Endocrinology and Diabetes Association in Sharkia and the Delta Diabetes Association. The guests were in the reception of Dr Prof. Khaled Sabry, dean of PSU faculty of medicine. The inauguration began with reciting from the Holy Quran followed by different speeches by Dr Prof. Eman el- Shorbagy, professor of endocrinology at Zaqaziq university and head of the conference, Dr Prof. Mohamed Awad, organizer, Dr Prof. Mamdouh el- Nahas, professor of endocrinology at Port Said university, Dr Prof. Mohamed Qamar, professor of endocrinology at Zaqaziq university, Dr Prof. Dr Prof. Ashraf talat, enacting dean of Domaiatta faculty of medicine, and Dr Khalid Sabry, dean of Port Said faculty of medicine.
Then, The President of the University Gave a word welcoming he guests and appreciated the mutual collaboration with Dr Sayed Daador, president of Domaiatta University. The conference witnessed different lectures on supporting the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes.
